Time for another art journal how-to video!
For today I created a dreamcatcher by combining a mask and a stencil I did. I also used these amazing feather dies by SimonSaysStamp.
I just love how striking orange is against the blue background.
Here are a couple of close-ups

I love your videos.
Your journal pages are beautiful, thank you so much for sharing the how-to with us.
Hi Vicky, I watched your video this morning during my coffee break. They call today Blue Monday and the weather outside is depressing (grey and rain) but there is nothing depressing about your blue journal pages. I’m a big fan of dreamcatcher’s, I have one over my bed. I think the pages are gorgeous, I really like the oranges.
Eveline.
I love your art journal pages, so cheerful and creative… and I love how you made your dreamcatcher. Thank you for the video and your precious tips, like the explanation about gesso. I have gesso that I bought some years ago to prepare canvas for oil painting, but I never really used it with that purpose. I used to stiffen heavy weight fabric, instead. However, my gesso is much more liquid than the one you have used… I guess I will have to make a try on my art journal pages and see how it turns out.
It’s so mesmerizing to watch your videos! (Did I say this before?) You totally deserve a cup of coffee while you’re creating–that was so sweet! Thank you for taking us on your art journey. It’s an incredible ride!
Love your art journal pages and videos!!
Hi Vicky, I just love watching your videos, the way you explain each step makes the whole process look so easy, I have just started purchasing products to start my own art journal and I have you to thank for that. After watching the first video, the cupcake one, I was hooked, now to set some time aside to start my own journal. Thankyou for introducing me to what appears to be a very rewarding and relaxing craft.
Dear Vicky,
This was the first of your videos that I watched on YouTube, which I was fortunate to come across because I was randomly searching art journals. I’ve been dabbling with the idea of art journalling for 3 years, if not longer, but never had the confidence to go ahead and jump in. I’m also a stickler for neatness and precision and everyone told me that art journalling and meticulousness do not mix. It is thanks to you and your beautiful, precise and beautiful art pages that I have been inspired and started my first art journal. Thank you!!
Your #1 Canadian fan,
Mariam
