penguin card
For my first card I used the mini stamp set just to demontrate not to underestimate those tiny ones! They can create quick and easy cards that are super adorable.
With a little bit of inking I created my ocean and sky and then to ground the penguins I needed an ice floe… so I just draw one and cut it out. It’s not perfect but it does the job!

Altenew is famous for their amazing flower stamp sets they release every month. And this one goes on my all time top favorites!
I used my watercolor brush markers for a watercolor look and feel. So much quicker than using alcohol markers and so much easier too!
A few clear bubbles on top of the petals make them look so fresh as they look like water droplets and provide the perfect finishing touch.

Don’t you love the realism of the penguins?!? Thank you for demonstrating the background and making the iceberg look so much easier than it would be for me! I struggle with making the backgrounds contiguous and it doesn’t occur to me to add a horizon! Thank you for this reminder! And the blending above the horizon is perfectly light and leaves a glow for your focal image. Thank you, Vicky!
