Hi! Today I am back with a new fun mini art journal. I have already shared an unboxing video on the latest Art by Marlene collection, Artsy Arabia. It’s a fantastic collection and you can see a video on this one here.
Today I am using products from this collection to create my own mini art journal book in a very whimsical shape. I also share 2 pages on this mini journal. The designs are so fun to work with and they make you pages look like as if Aladdin and his magic carpet are going to pop out of them!

DIY mini art journal cover
For the cover I used the Journal Cutting dies, and isn’t that shape so unique?! This is what I love on everything Marlene does. Nothing like it! The material I used to die cut it is faux leather in gold, which I think is perfect for my “artsy arabia” journal.
To create the window and the little decorative top I used dies that are included in the Journal Cutting dies set. However the little palace, the palmtree as well as the moon and stars are from this Artsy Arabia Cutting & Embossing Die .
All the quotes come from this Artsy Arabia Sticker Pad .

Please finish this Arabia journal. I enjoy watching all your videos.
I love the shape of this journal. Great idea to use faux leather for cover—I have some Tonic sheets in my stash I’ve been hoarding. I always enjoy seeing your art journal videos, so please show the other pages you create.
Vicky I absolutely love these art journal pages. So much fun.
I look forward to seeing the rest of these journal pages completed.
I’ve been looking forward to seeing what you do with this collection! Great stuff! Love what you’ve done. The 2nd stencil you used reminds me very much of a Navajo (Native American tribe) weaving pattern that I really like. Beautiful. I just love the shapes and and colors of Arabic art and design and Marlene has certainly captured some of that in her collection and you have added to the theme with your choice of colors and design. Thank you, Vicky! I too am looking forward to seeing what else you do with this journal.
