This weekend card is actually a remake of the card I made early this week.
If you read my previous post I made that card for the Embellish magazine challenge but then realized it should have been a birthday card. So here we go again … another version for the same challenge.

You can scroll down to watch the video and then read the list of supplies. I upload a new video every weekend so If you enjoy them don’t forget to subscribe on my YouTube channel or subscribe on my blog 🙂

  1. I never think about embossing on paper and then cutting them out, when you first started I thought I don’t think I’m going to like this card as well but as soon as you began to cut the little hat and things out I could see it take shape, so very very cute!!! This is the first I’ve seen someone adhere the paper to the chipboard letters, how neat they look after you got done! Thanks for the inspiration, as always your videos make my weekend!

  2. Adorable in all of the design, colors, embossing, cutting, sanding….. and those liittle helping hands and the happy music (kudos to your DH!)!! AWESOME video, Vicky! Congrats on being featured in HA Twitter!! xoxo

  3. Such an adorable card..I would love to hear your voice and your thoughts as you make the card…I just found your blog..and I’m so happy to find such great inspiration.
I’ll be following your blog for sure.

    1. Thanks Tejal! I would love to speak over as I work but do you really want to listen to my accent? LOL! I guess I should do that at some point
… or should I talk in Greek and have subtitles?!

      1. Yeah! That part about you talking in Greek! hmm…it would sound Greek to me(ok, I know that was lame). I think maybe you could have subtitles in the video as and when you were thinking..it might work the same way…

  4. Wow Vicky, love your card. And the with the video it’s so good to see how you do it. Thanks for sharing with us.

  5. Ciao!
le tue card mi piacciono molto e trovo molto utili i tuoi video! ora mi sono messa a fare una card come la tua di qualche post fa, quella con il vaso di fiori!
avrei una domanda: ma dove lo posso trovare il “sanding files”?
    ciao e grazie

    1. wow…. that was difficult to understand! You are so sweet thanks a lot. I just added a link to the supplies list where you can find those sanding files. If you don’t buy from USA contact me and I’ll send you a couple of other shops in UK …. or you can always search on ebay 🙂
They are called “Precision File set” by BasicGrey … about $6

      1. Grazie! Scusa se ti scrivo in italiano, ma con l’inglese me la cavo veramente male 🙁
acquisto raramente in USA, meglio sarebbe in UK, comunque, ora che so il nome, provo a cercare su ebay
        grazie ancora!

  6. Sooo cute!! Thanks a lot Vicky, you have given me so many new ideas again!! Never would have thought how relatively easy it is to “dress” plain alphabets in cute pattern paper!
Bye, am looking forward to your next videos!

  7. Great card, Vicky! I just love the little birthday motifs added to the letters and the string on the balloon…charming little details that take this card over the top! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful videos. (…love your little helper too!)

  8. I didn’t know you could emboss and then emboss over again! I like watching the details you go into like sanding and aligning. I really appreciate your videos. I love the music too!
