Happy belated World Card Making Day!
I can’t believe I have been away from my blog for about two weeks now! Between being a mom, going to work, having my birthday and wedding anniversary, plus going away for a family reunion and a weeding last weekend… well, I just couldn’t find the time to craft.
So on World Card Making day IÂ promised myself to keep my laptop closed and not blog or start surfing around to your gorgeous creations. And I made it, I celebrated the day by crafting non-stop without distraction, ha! …making 4 cards and shooting two videos! Whooo hoooo! It was so much fun creating after all this time!
Enough talking … here is the card for today using the October SimonSaysStamp kit.
I just paper pieced this gorgeous flower. And check out the liquid pearls!!
And here is a closer look to the “Always” veneer wood. This is the lovely handwriting of our favorite Kristina Werner!
By the way I am in love with that background! Such a “mixed media” look but without the mess on your table. It is just a paper from the Aspen Frost collection. I think I am gonna order tons of this sheet in 12×12 if I can find it separetly (UPDATE: found it HERE)!
You can enjoy the how-to video below or at my YouTube channel in HD.

Whoa! You have been busy! Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary!
I adore your card. Great placement with the stamped sentiment and gorgeous flower! I agree with you on the Aspen Frost paper, love the collage look. 🙂 I’m glad you’re back 🙂
Such a pretty card and I love the dimension and wood look of “always”, it adds such richness to the card.
Beautiful card – love it and loved the video! Thanks so much!
I get so inspired by watching the videos,
However, when I look at the supply list it doesnt show what type or name of the glue that you used on the “Always” on this card. I think it is what I have been looking for to make my flowes and to attach things together. I have purchased five or six types but dant find on that is sticky enough to hold things together until I am ready for it to be glued,
PLEASE keep up the great videos,
Thank you for your lovely comment. Here is a link the the glue you are looking for http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/servlet/the-19625/tombow-Tombo-MONO-MULTI/Detail
An absolutely wonderful card and tutorial. Love the leaf accents and, of course, the liquid pearls but most of all I liked how you added the words around the focal ALWAYS.
