On Friday I received my SimonSaysStamp November kit. You know by now that I am a subscriber. I love getting a package full of papers, cardstock, a stamp set and other goodies that coordinate with each other without even thinking.

So here is the super sweet/cute card I created.

  1. So very cute! Love the teensy bird you cut out to use! This all came together beautifully. I haven’t seen that Hero Arts lace yet….how cool!

OK, I have a question….I watched the part where you cut the card base a few times. Was it an 8 1/2 by 11 sheet of paper? It may not have been but that’s what it possibly looked like. I was wondering why you didn’t just cut it in half to get your 5 1/2 by 4 1/4 card base. sometimes I pay attention to too much detail. LOL!

Anyway, loved the card and hope you’re having a fabulous Sunday in GREECE!

    1. Hi Susan! That was actually not an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet …there was a strip missing… I cut that out to make another card and that left me with a slightly smaller sheet… so I just cut it out without paying too much attention. Thanks for commenting 🙂

  2. Beautfiul card for a beautiful day! 😉
I love Basic Grey, but I must say that I wasn’t a big fan of that Serenade collection.
But you managed to make a great card!!

  8. Love your work Vicki! I anxiously await each and every video you do. This was an adorable card. Love to see what you come up with. Do you preplan the cards or just go for it?

    1. Just because I am filming my card I always have an idea of what I am going to do. So I get my stamps and papers on my table. However most of the time the end result is way far from what I’ve planned!

  9. What a dear, sweet little card! Just had to comment. All the elements you used just came together so perfectly!!!
