Welcome to a fun week where I’ll be posting a new fun video each day featuring Lawn Fawn stamps! Have you seen their latest release?! AMAZING!

Today I went nautical, a classic design but with a twist! Don’t you just love how the knot compliments the design?

Combining navy blue, white and red with splashes of gold is guaranteed to give you an awesome nautical design. Add some gold eyelets and a knot and you are ready to sail!!!!

  1. Vicky, it is a delight to watch your videos. You never fail to inspire me. Love the addition of the knot on today’s card.

  2. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!
Such a gorgeous card..look forward to your blog post from Lawn fawn each day…

  3. Count me among those who love this card. The theme, colors, patterns, added knot and embossing are perfectly done. And, yes, I’ve spilled embossing powder many times. πŸ˜‰

  4. Beautiful nautical card! Love the paper choices and the gold embossing but wow, that knot just makes the card!

  5. Great inspiration for Father’s Day. The knot demonstration was excellent. Thank You.

I, too, have had embossing powder incidents. But I finally went the Jennifer McGuire system (she’s upgraded to fancy stacking plastic boxes) of using ziploc style plastic storage containers. Each unit has its own spoon in it and each unit is labelled with the Brand name & colour. I use the shallow square containers, which stack nicely on the shelf.

  6. Great card! I love the addition of the cord with the knot, really finishes off the card.
I think every one of us has had an “incident” with embossing powder or even worse glitter!
    Thanks!

  7. Ahoy Vicky! Navy, red & gold – eyelets and rope. What a GREAT card! The details are perfect! You are an inspiration! πŸ™‚
