Hi Vicky! Very beautiful layout like always but it is not up to your usual standards in my opinion. I feel like you were not really inspired to do this layout…It did not WOW me like all your other journal pages. Maybe i’m just missing all the COLOR you usually play with… Hugs! deb

I love this layout, especially the suitcases, the papercliped papers and the shimmer on the background.
But it is normal that one layout is appealing to some people while another to others.
We can’t please everyone especially when it comes to art journaling that is even more personal.

Wow. Did you really just say that and then offer hugs???? I don’t think it’s Vicky’s goal to “WOW” us. Sharing one’s art is a very vulnerable experience; it’s like laying one’s innermost self bare for all to see. I’m guessing you are not an artist, or you wouldn’t be making these kinds of self-centered, ignorant, and ill-mannered comments.
BlossomGirl i do not see anything wrong with being honest. Why do i have to sugarcoat everything? If i LOVE it i will tell her that too. If i’m a little underwhelmed why can’t i say that too? I shouldn’t have to walk on eggshells. I thought i was very polite. It wan not meant with any animosity thats why i hugged. 🙂 deb
I just love this layout. Every time I see one of you journal pages I want to do one. Haven’t done it yet but plan on it after the Christmas holiday is over. Very busy making cards right now. Thanks for all your inspiration!
