The latest SimonSaysStamp release is out! It is called “The color of fun” and it introduces 12 new ink pad colors along with fun stamps and dies.

So today I made a fun summer card using one of the new stamp sets and a couple of the new ink pads!

Isn’t the texture on the ice-cream just yummy?! And this is not embossed and it isn’t glitter all over. That is a medium called “Glass Bead Glitter Gel” and if you ask me it is a must have. If you hate having glitter all over and avoid it on your projects for that reason then you have to try this. Beautiful texture.

  1. I have some microbead paste from another company but find it difficult to use (paper warps, hard to cut). Maybe I should cut the images first, then apply the paste?

  2. Love the glass bead glitter gel. Makes the ice cream look real. I also love the new ink pad colors. Vicky that card has summer written all over it….love it !!!!!!

  6. Vicki such a great card,,,,lots of inspiration now that I am off to Ithaki, & will have so much more free time.Hopefully you will post more during the summer, Love that glass bead glitter gel.

    1. Karen each summer I move to our summer house with the family. That means I spend all day at the beach and I have no craft supplies with me. Only a sketch book to note down my ideas. It helps my mojo and I do that every summer. That being said the blog is “slow” during the summer. I plan on shooting a few videos before I leave, so I have everything scheduled. I’ll see how that goes … Have a great and relaxing summer!
