Today I am back with a double page art journal! Let’s play with stencils, acrylics, stamps and big brush markers! Todays page is isnpired by “Songs of the Sea” new Stamperia collection, designed by my talented friends and collegues Farrel Tailor and Antonis Tzanidakis. I just love my Stamperia family.

Here is a look on the art journal
To get the artistic look on her I stamped the image and just used my brush markers to color her. You can always use the mermaid from the paper pad but with the stamps you get to make the image your own by choosing skin, eye and hair colors. And you can even do her make-up!
Remeber although she is designed to be a mermaid, she is so versatile and can be used again and again not just as a mermaid.
I used some of the phrames from my ephemera to create focal points and I added lots of colors on my page by using bright colors on the corals and seaweed.
As always I combined bigger cut out letters with smaller strips of print out phrases for my quote.

A lovely project, as usual. I chuckled when you said that it was upside down………….I now realize that I am NOT alone………LOL Thank you for the video!
Great journal pages! Love the background and I too had to laugh (a lot) when you realized you were working upside down! “Do I care?” No!” You crack me up!!!! Thank you for the laugh … I needed it as I’ve been feeling really sad the past several days. It was good to lighten up a bit. Your background is so pretty. I’ve tried this technique but I didn’t really like how it came out. Now I know what went wrong with it!! And the mermaid quote is funny! I have one mermaid stamp and it has that saying on it. Always makes me smile and chuckle. Thank you so much for the video!
I am very impressed with the information on how to make impressive cards that you share.
