Valentine’s Day cards – close-up look
the hearts card
For this card I used the Die-namics Hearts Entwined( MFT | SSS ) to create my window. I also created a background using my distress oxide inks. You can do a softer looking background with your blending tools, use a patterned paper or ever go monochromatic. I was feeling artsy today so I went with the good old smooshing technique for that !
The outline of the hearts was cut using glitter cardstock.
the birds card
How cute is this card? The birds come from the Tweethearts ( MFT | SSS ) stamp set. It’s packed with adorable images to create such scenes with birdies holding hearts in various positions or little love letters! For my background I used the new Lots of Heart ( MFT | SSS ) stencil with Spun Sugar.
All the leaves I used are also die cuts from a set released a while back, the Die-namics Grand Greenery ( MFT | SSS ).
the friendly fox card
And here is a super adorable card using the Die-namics Friendly Fox ( MFT | SSS ). This design can be used throughout the year for any occasion such as birthdays and you can have your fox holding different things. How about a flower or even a gift?! Now the idea behind this design was to have my fox holding the paper up so you can see the message underneath.
