I love roses and find blue ones gorgeous and unexpected! Very pretty winter card! Could you at some point maybe explain what mixed media ink pads are and why they’re called “mixed media”? Do they do something special? Or is it just that they are a pigment ink? I’m confused and curious about this. Thank you for the video and for sharing this lovely — and unexpected (colors) — card design.
I love that you think outside the box when choosing colors for your cards. Blue roses in the winter seem both unexpected and perfectly appropriate!

I would really like to see Altenew design an embossing folder that can emboss the actual die cut that has been colored with the stencil and/or stamped for the individual flower(s). It would add sooooo much dimension! Now the embossing folder is a different design so can only be used as a background or separate focal point..

I just watched your video tutorial and enjoyed seeing both cards created. I absolutely love the contrast of the gorgeous blue cardstock vs the deeply embossed roses white cardstock on the same card, so lovely!!! Your rose is beautifully shaded and colored. You never fail to interest us in what you’re creating, and I look forward to seeing you next month on this Craft Your Life subscription kit.

I love watching you create ! This card is absolutely gorgeous. I love this Garden Rose kit.
The thing I love about altenew products and how people use them, is that I was never a fan of large images and I would never step out of my comfort of coloring flowers in ways that I wouldnt see them in nature. Altenew and these amazong artists/designers have changed my mind this year and I am so inspired. I need to color a rose blue.. ? this is very pretty color!
