I had so much fun creating a double page after a few weeks. Lately I usually go with mini journal pages since I can put them together quickly but those bigger projects give me so much joy!
The background was created with acrylic paints and I kept everything very subtle and soft.
Stenciling, stamping, splatters and more were used to create the background.
For my focal point I went with a die cut and I did some collage with images I cut out from a patterned paper.
I used my favorite big brush markers and also added a motivational quote using alphabet dies. So many loved techniques combined!.

What a great page!! I just love watching your pages come to life before my very eyes! So much fun and amazing. Those splatters you did on the background really added a lot. So many tips and ideas. Thank you very much for the video and I’m so happy Mixed Media Tuesday is Back!!!! Oh, and I so agree with your quote! (Only problem is that my flight doesn’t leave for NY until the end of April!!!!) After I finish up some non-crafty projects that need time and attention I’ll turn my attention to my art journal so your timing is perfect!!! Thanks again, Vicky!
Enjoyed your mixed media tutorial! Nice to see you again.
Bravo, j’aime beaucoup.

Your art looks so good shouldn’t it be framed?
