Time for a Halloween themed art journal and today I have a double spread for you!
video tutorial
You can enjoy the video at my YouTube channel
close-up photos
here are some close-up photos on today’s project, where you can see the details and texture better!
the background was created using oxide inks and 3 different stencil techniques: ghosting effect, ink blending and texture paste
for my pumpkins I used dies and cut out everything from white cardstock. So I had lots of fun ink blending each piece before putting the pumpkins together

I absolutely love your journal today!! The pattern that is made using oxide with a brayer is so cool! The stencil with the dots adds a little something but yet a lot to the overall page (I can see why it’s a very loved stencil!!) and those pumpkins are so incredibly cute!! Your idea to take away color through a stencil and then add texture and color on top is so cool! Creates layers without bulk!! Just yesterday I was thinking that if anyone asked me what tool I use the most (besides scissors, etc), I would say my poke tool. I couldn’t craft without it now!! Thank you for the video, Vicky! And happy fall!!!
This is gorgeous! The ink blending really makes them pop! Perfect inspiration for Halloween journaling.
This perspective is refreshing!
The combination of the video tutorial and the close-up photos is really helpful here. Your notes about ghosting, ink blending, and texture paste make the process easy to follow, and a readable transcript would be useful for revisiting each step while working on a similar spread.
I was searching for proper information before exploring the platform, and this article explained the topic clearly. The points mentioned about Tiranga Game download are easy to follow and help readers understand the basic requirements.
