Welcome to this weekend’s video everybody.
When I was making this card I was singing the song from the movie “Mary Poppins”… couldn’t use it as a soundtrack on my video thought since it’s copyrighted

Let’s go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!
Let’s go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let’s go fly a kite!

and a closer look

  4. I love that song in Mary Poppins also Vicky, again what a fantastic card they just keep getting more and more wonderful each time I visit, which is pretty often lately.

  5. Thanks so much for another wonderful card! Your ideas are so great and although I often don’t have the same product and I am to incorporate many of the ideas using supplies I currently have. But..I still like to see these products in action.

    1. thanks! well you don’t need to have the exact products. For example you could use a light blue background paper, cut out with your scissors white clouds and stick them there, this would make a great 3d effect. You could use any patterned paper for the kite and just stamp a sentiment! … in fact….. I’m off to make this version! LOL

  6. Great card my friend, very creative way to do the kite and string. Love the addition of the tied ribbons on the string. That background cloud stamp just made the card. Thanks for sharing your talents with us all again!

  7. What an absolutely adorable card! I love your style! I saw your work and interview on Deborah Nolan’s blog. So glad to find you! By the way, what is the adhesive you used to hold down the cord on the kite’s tail?
