A Christmas card today! I wanted to make a quick and easy to reproduce card so I thought I should use my digital cutter. Having a template and cutting out all the pieces multiple times is a great help when you want to make a set of the same cards. Anyway, here is the card which I totally love. I think it looks so elegant.

You can watch the video and then scroll down to download the templates and to view the list of supplies used.

The template files are only available in .SVG

I am using Inkscape to design and cut with my CraftRobo. For those of you who don’t know, CraftRobo is the exact same machine as Xyron’s Wishblade. In fact, the CraftRobo was the original design until Wishblade bought the rights to manufacture the same machine for the U.S. market. If you don’t know how to use Inkscape to cut your files watch this post.

Supplies:
The stamp set I am using is by HeroArts called  “Holiday Sayings” but I think it’s retired so I’ll link you to a couple of similar stamp sets full of Christmas sentiments.

  1. I love this card. It’s so elegant and festive. You definitly inspire me every time with your cute little videos !!! Thankyou.

  2. As usual, YOU ROCK!!! This is such a cute idea! Thank you for the template. I can’t wait to try it. I have the Wishblade myself… used it once and it’s been in the box ever since. I prefer my Cricut because I don’t have to be a computer tech to figure out the users manual! LOL Anyway, thank you for the SVG file because I can use that with the Cricut too! Woo hoo! Love this music, by the way. I missed it while it was gone! haha

  3. Love the card, makes me want to get myself organised and load my craft robo and inkscape software onto my upgraded computer. The down side of changing computers.

  4. LOVE the spinner/window card! This is another incredible card and video!! The happy tune goes well with the carad-making!! Please tell the “composer” to keep at it. I am hoping to hear something more “Christmasy”!!
