Warning: this is a looooong post so grab your coffee cause you’ll be seeing lots of photos at the bottom 😉
Hello and welcome to a week full of cards!
I have challenged myself to create five cards using the July kit by SimonSaysStamps. Everything included in the set is gorgeous and so well combined, so this was not really a challenge. I made 5 cards easily and I have products for even more.
So here is the kit
and this is my first card using it
Paper, ruler-ribbon and stickers were all included in the kit. I just added the inking and used another sentiment stamp set than the one included. See below for supplies.
Here are some close-ups
The stitching on the paper ribbons is actually a stamp by Lawn Fawn’s “Belinda’s Borders” stamp set.
All paper edges and the base card are inked with “walnut stain” for a distress look. Also i have sprayed opaque white on the cardstock and I love the effect.

And since you have read this far here is a treat from CHA! Just a few of the people I had the pleasure to see… I met MANY more but I was excited and enjoying the moment that I forgot to take a photo.
Boooo for not taking a photo with Kathy and Heidi , and I spent most of my time with those girls!
With Lynnette, Sarah and Laurel. Yeah for meeting you girls!!!! So much talent in one photo!
Laurel has been one of my best blogging friends this year, and it was a blast meeting her after all! Love ya!
Ans with Sarah we were in the same DT of lilypad cards for sometime and I admire her so much! Super talented!
Oh and there is a story behind the photo… Lynnette made the most delicious peanut butter cookies to KILL US all. After we greeks ate one they started to worry we might die. LOL! NO we are not alergic to peanut butter. STILL ALIVE! Fun times and great laughs with those cookies!
With Nancy, I finally met my sweet Nancy after working with her in the same DT for a year!
With Tim Holtz, Mario Rossi and Mr Inlinkz aka Aris (my DH).
They are so talented and generous and friendly. Tim and Mario can make you feel as if you are the celebrity!
A M A Z I N G people!!!! Love them!
With Lisa , she is so much fun and has TONS of ideas! Hugs to you Lisa!
with Kelly Marie at the Lawn Fawn booth. The happiest girl in CHA! Love her smile and her products!
