If you are looking for today’s how-to video I have exciting news for you!

Not only one… but three cards in one video!!!!

I am honored to be the guest designer at SimonSaysStamp blog today and celebrate STAMPtember with all of you!

Here’s a little bit about STAMPtember™!

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. Over the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember” ™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

SimonSaysStamp has been my favorite shop for years. I’ve been getting everything I have from them since I first started my cardmaking adventures. Loved their service, their amazing selection of products and their unbeatable international shipping rates for years. And then I met Heidi in person! And I loved SimonSaysStamp even more! She is an amazing woman that I am happy to call a friend.

For my guest post I decided to use one of the most fun stamp companies out there! PAPER SMOOCHES! And I am sharing 3 cards and a how-to video over at SimonSaysStamp blog so make sure you click HERE and visit.

Here is a sneak peek of the cards I am sharing there:

  1. Woo, hoo! Congrats on a fabulous post over there, Vicky! So happy for you! Your video and cards are awesome! Hugs! 🙂

Just so you know, the links from Simon’s blog to yours are not working.

    1. Thanks Barb for your sweet comment and for taking care of me! I emailed Steph and hope she will correct the URL or readers will not be able to find the coupon!

  2. Hi Vicky,

Every week, I look forward to your videos that are chock full of creative and fun ideas, and this week was a triple pleasure…thank you for sharing your creative inspiration! I do have a question regarding a product I saw you use twice in the video (cards 1 & 3). Prior to embossing, you used a product in a bottle, but I could not see what it was, and I didn’t see it in the list of products used. I’m assuming it was some kind of “embossing buddy” like product to help with the embossing powder, but I’ve never seen anything like that in a bottle. Just curious….

Thanks again for sharing your talent,
    Nanc

  3. Wow Vicky, all of these cards were just Fabulous. I don’t own any Paper Smooches stamps, but that’s about to change very soon. They are just too cute. I’m so glad you were a Guest Designer here. I’m now a new YouTube follower for you. Smooches…

  4. Vicky… thanks for sharing your techniques.
It was cool watching you whiten the eyes, cut out parts of stamps, and emboss then color with markers. And the paper button? Did you punch out holes in that sticker? What a clever idea!
