A bit late today but we just came back from a fun weekend away with extended family.
I know I usually make cards that are super difficult to replicate and take some time to make with all the details I add into them. So today just for a change I made two cards in one video that are easy and quick. Guess what?! No paper piecing! ha!
Here is the first one: “Peace Joy Love”. I’ve used a wooden frame by Studio Calico to create my focal point, which is actually a window.
and here is a closer look
The second card is based on the same idea, using the wood veneer frame I made my own embellishment out of patterned paper.

Ahhhh!!! These are both GORGEOUS!!!! (; You’ll be surprised when you receive a lil’ something in the mail–something that you used in one of these cards… (;
Hi Vicky,
very lovely cards-both of them. I admire how you always come up with new ideas, it enables me to use my supplies in a broader, more interesting fashion. Thanks for sharing!!
I look forward to next Sunday and wish you a creative week.

Love them both, Vicky! So pretty!
Perfect inspiration once again, my friend! Beautiful cards!
Beautiful ideas and two beautiful cards, kisses.
Bonus with two cards today. You’ve given me ideas for using antique images. Thanks Vicki.
I’ve just found your videos on YouTube recently and they’re wonderful! Thank you for making them! I have a question about the second card…how did you do the little “bow” behind the button? Thanks again!
I just used glue dots to keep it in place… I managed to delete that part while I was video editing… sorry about that.
Really cute cards! I think I could even try to do them.
Love these! Thanks for the tutorial on ribbon/button/bow application. Clever!
Love them. Love the way you did the ribbon and button and then the bow. Will have to remember that technique. Thanks!
OK, I rewound and paused and paused and just can’t figure out how you got the bow to stay in shape like that! 😀 I love these cards! The frame detail is just perfect.
The answer is glue dots! I used them on the bow but somehow
I managed to cut off that part when I was video editing! Thanks for visiting!
Super cards! I always smile when I get email notification of another one of your blog posts. SO inspirational…and I love the little tune that plays. Thanks so much for sharing.

Always love your creative cards! May I ask what you use to get the excess powder off the card? Looked like some kind of eraser?
That was an eraser actually, I was just erasing the pencil lines I made to mark the frame on the inside of the card.
Love both of the beauties! The little wood frames were such a great touch!
Hi Vicky. thanks for another in a long list of fabulous cards and videos. very special week as we got 2 cards this time! Question: why the 2 different ATG guns? You start with one, then switch to the other….just wondering! thanks!
Ahhhh two more fun cards.. I always enjoy watching you work. i’m learning a lot from you .
I love the fun feeling of your cards and all your fussy cutting. I don’t know how you do it.
I love the results though. They remind me of when my sister and I played paper dolls.
love your work
