Welcome back to another how-to video this week.
My card is a romantic anniversary card but it can also be used for weddings, depends on your sentiment really!
I used another wax seal to embellish my card today, but this time I used the wax gun to melt it! Watch the video for more details. The design stamped on the wax is a couple of champagne glasses.
You can enjoy the video below or at my YouTube channel.
Supplies:
Β G i v e a w a y : Here are the two sets I am giving away to two lucky winners! There is everything inside to get you started. The handle, three different coin designs and a wax stick with wick. You use the set just like I did on the video.
For a chance to win one of the Decorative Sealing packages by Manuscript you must enter your details by clicking the blue button below. You do not have to have a blog to enter the giveaway! I will randomly pick two winners on Friday. Good luck!
Thank you all for visiting today and for all the lovely comments! Have a great week π
This is such a stunning card, Vicky! I love how the vellum softens the background papers, the sentiment is so elegant, and your wax seal is absolutely GORGEOUS!
Thank you so much for the bonus video…and for a chance to win!!!
Gorgeous anniversary card, Vicky! LOVE the vellum, the wax seal and that beautiful heart trim! I must admit, it was fun to see you put the vellum piece upside down – good to know I’m not the only one who’s done that! (hee, hee) π
Your card is beautiful in its simplicity
Beautiful card, as always!
What gorgeous card. I so love everything you did and the way you did your wax image is amazing I’ve never seen this before. So much talent!!
These last 2 cards are stunning! Love the wax seals! Quick question–does the gun you used in today’s video need to be heated at all? I didn’t see a cord but assuming it needed to be hot to melt the wax, right?
Thanks!
Hi Pat and thank you for commenting. It doesn’t show on the video but yes, there is a cord and it was plugged in from the beginning of the video! When you insert the stick it takes a bit before the wax melts and starts to run. For time’s shake this was not shown. Just think of it as a standard silicon hot glue gun. Works the same. But instead of silicone sticks you insert wax stick. Hope this helps!
I like the gun much better… what a great idea for an anniversary card.
Love this delicate card, Viki! That heart trim pulls it all together. Thanks!
What a lovely card and really pretty easy to make, wasn’t it?!?! You are right, the vellum sure adds just the right touch of elegance. Beautiful!
Simply elegant card
This is soooo beautiful Vicky and such an elegant card to use for many different occasions, I think.I loved the little heartribbons on it, it went sooo well with the vellum and the rest.
Great card, well done hun.
Thank’s for all you videos. I always look forward to watch them. This anniversary card was beatiful.
Fabulous card Vicky! Amazing talent! Thanks so much for sharing!
It’s so cool to see the wax seals again. I have some of the wax sticks that burn some where. I don’t have the charms or that kind of holder. That’s for bringing this back. Your cards, as always, are great.
OOPS, sent it to your site. Sorry – this migraine doesn’t have me thinking straight. Don’t know how I have missed the wax seals, but will be checking them out now!
Lovely card, just beautiful. I loved the video, very inspiring, and funny, too.
What a very pretty card. I love that heart trim….and vellum always adds such an elegant touch.
Hi Vicky, beautiful card! I love the heart lace trim and the vellum. Thanks for the tip about preheating the heat gun before embossing vellum. I haven’t been around lately, but I have been peeking in on your videos, they’re always a huge treat!
Lovely card and another great video! I laughed when I saw your hands the moment you realized it was upside down. Thanks for keeping it real. π
Wow, so elegant, beautiful and indeed very romantic! (: LOVE those wax seals! Thanks for the inspiration… One of my good friends is getting married in July and I need wedding card inspiration!!

Beautiful card the sealing wax looks very interesting. Thanks for a chance to win.
Darn, I missed the giveaway but I still wanted to add my comment on how pretty your cards are, and I have not see the sealing wax kits before, they would be so much fun to use. I will have to check them out. You always have such great projects!
I watched this video on YouTube and came straight to your blog to get more wax seals info. I love the look of wax seals but didn’t know about this product and the technique with the gun. I know I need this now! Thanks for sharing, and I love this card!
