Hi everyone! It was a crazy month but I have finally had some time to play with my June 2014 Card Kit by SimonSaysStamp.com
The kit is amazing, I love the stamp set with flowers and the papers are just gorgeous. Check out what’s included in the photo below
I wanted to create a soft and romantic card that can be used in almost any occasion from birthdays to anniversaries and thank you cards. The design is simple but so pretty and if you just change the sentiment you can have a card in no time, ready to go.
To create this greeting card I used my distress inks and my new round mini blending tool. I just love the look of polka dot vellum on white. White on white is so elegant!

You certainly make the most of every kit or piece of paper and ink that comes your way. 😉 I even find myself loving all the pink you use, though it’s not a color I generally reach for. I love the vellum and the soft, unstructured swirls. The fonts on the sentiments in the stamp set are lovely and loose, too. Very nice, as always.

Your videos are always the highlight of my week – you are my 4 year old daughter’s hero, she asks every day if there is a new “Miss Vicky video” and loves to try to recreate some of the things you make! She’s done the blue card with the fishy and is helping me recreate the fall art journal page. LOL. I’d love to win the card kit, but I’m not sure she’d let me use it.
