I just love the color combination and everything included as always.

  1. My shopping list gets longer every time I see one of your videos or read one of your posts. 😉 I love shaker cards. It looks like the most time consuming part would be adding all those small foam squares. Gorgeous!

    1. Thank Lucy, actually sticking those down was quick but the most time consuming part was peeling them off! I had my daughter helping me taking off all those tiny little pieces!!!! LOL!

  2. Shaker cards are so much fun and this one is super cute. Great kit full of nice things, thank you for a chance at winning it! I am going to have to go to SSS and check out the monthly kit program. Happy Stamping! 🙂

  3. Great video – especially I like how you have used a piece of patterned paper in such a novel way instead of perhaps stamping your image. I like your videos as you make projects easy to follow because of your clear instructions. Thank you Vicky!

  4. I SO enjoy watching and learning from your videos. You make it look so simple, but the end projects are always so wonderful! Now I need to get busy and make some cards. Thanks again.

  5. Vicky, I really like this card and I always like your videos! Espicially the round shape of the card is great. I’m always lokking for specially-shaped cards. But I was thinking if there could be a way to hide the white edge of the foam squares?

    1. Oh there is! Instead of using foam squares you can create many rings. Stack them one on top of the other to create your dimension. If you use 5 or six of those and your cardstock in quite thick it would be enough. You would need to make it high enough so the sequins would move inside. I did this technique in one of my earlier videos…. let me check for the link. I will comment here again once I find that link.

      1. And couldn’t you just cut a ring out of a foam sheet? I don’t know if the cuttlebug would be able to cut it, I don’t have one lol but it’s an idea, right? Then you just have to put some glue on the foam! I may try this, but cutting the circles with scisors 😉 thanks for the inspiration!!

  6. I LOVE watching and learning from your videos. You make it look so simple and straight forward. Yet the end results are breath taking! Thanks for this opportunity to enter to win

  11. I’m an English teacher in Medellin, Colombia. Although I love what I do, I dream of traveling across South America on motobike with my beloved boyfriend to whom I’m engaged. Seeking to make our dream come true we have spent a lot of time thinking about how to earn some money to buy food when in the trip, and we believe that art is one way to do so. thus we started taking watercolor lessons. Looking for videos related to watercolor I watched your art journal entry “Take life one cup at a time” and since then I can’t stop watching at your channel and your blog. Your ideas are pretty but simple at the same time, that’s exacly what I want to achieve with my art. Thank you for sharing your delightful work with the world.
