Hi crafty friends!

Today I am back with another art journal layout. I had this idea in my mind of making a treasure map on my art journal for quite some time and finally here it is

art journal treasure map

Just because I am working in a book I had to keep everything as flat as possible but if you like to turn this idea into a mixed media canvas you can go really dimensional.

I have printed out the map and the little elements for turning it into treasure map from graphicstock. I like using their images when I don’t have stamps that work for my ideas and especially because they are royalty free. I am lucky enough to be sponsored by them but they have a free trial for you too so read on.

I have used again my go-to techniques such as my big brush markers and my white gel pen.

Supplies:

You can print out images on your inkjet printer and once they are dry you are good to go! I am linking my printer (I have it for years) just so you can see that it is just a normal inkjet.

I would love to use the link to the ‘trial’ images, but I don’t like giving out my credit card number just for a trial, so alas, can’t partake of this offer!

  10. Loved this page, but I was extremely disappointed in Graphic Stock! Not worth $49.00 a month for a subscription.
