Today I am back with another layout on my 6×6 art journal. I had these Tribal Cats( SBC | SSS ) for a few weeks now and I wanted to use them so much. I used gel printing to create my background and my own patterned papers.
Can you all those awesome marks on the background?! That was done easily by using the TCW Positivity stencil ( SBC | JGG ). For added texture I did my stencling with Versamark ink so that I could apply on top Embossing Enamels – Aged Ivory( SBC | SSS ).
For gel printing I used two types of acrylic paint, DecoArt Fluid Acrylics and Distress Paints. You will see that they both work great. Just use on your plate any type of acrylics that you have. Anything works with great results!
And isn’t that quote perfect for cats?! Well it sure is for Ginger, cause that’s exactly what he does all day in my house! Ha!
It’s a quick layout with easy steps but the result is so vibrant, the textures, the colors… I just love it!

Am surprised that a Ginger didn’t help with this page. Perhaps he was too busy doing something important. Love the page. I’m enjoying seeing another type of art journal. Like that you can remove the page if something unplanned happens, I worry about that!
