Hi! Today I am back with yet another Halloween art journal. This time I used the “pumpkin boys” from the Tim Holtz – Ancestors ( SBC | SSS | JGG ) as my focal point. If you want to see the other Halloween page I shared yesterday click HERE.

For the background I used my trusted distress oxide inks. You can never go wrong with those! I combined 3 inks for a Halloween combination Dusty Concord( SBC | SSS ) , Carved Pumpkin( SBC | SSS | JGG ) and Chipped Sapphire( SBC | SSS ). I also did some stamping and like always inked up the edges with Black Soot( SBC | SSS | JGG ).
To complete my scene I used a chipboard branch and some cut out bats.
I also used Design Tape – Halloween( SBC | SSS | JGG ) to embellish my page. As a finishing touch I tinted the pumpkins in the photograph using my distress markers.

Vicky,
This Halloween art journal layout it sensational! From the color choices, to the washi tape, to the photo cut-out of the “pumpkin boys” it all comes together to create a great vintage looking Halloween art piece! Thank you so much for sharing! By the way….I love the music clip you used for this video!
Oh WOW! Another fantastic journal page! This actually reminds me of my four son when they were small.
Great journal page . Love them all. Great talent you have.
Booootiful! You are so clever. I love this one!
Hi Vicky, I LOVE when you do your journal pages, I especially LOVE Halloween ones. This video was AWESOME, I did watch yesterday’s also, LOVED that too. I love how your mind works, as I watch you in the video, I always see you do something and I think I would of never thought to do that, but you always do these things that are special touches that make the pages “pop”, it is amazing to watch. I wish I could be creative like that and think that one or two steps ahead to go from a plain page like mine to an amazing page like yours!!!! I guess that is why you are the artist/designer and I am NOT. LOL
This is another awesome halloween page!! Lovely!!
Spooktacular! Not a fan of design tape, but loved all the other elements.
Whe ar so lucky that you are in the mood for playing with your Art Journal, what a great inspiration you give us. Thank you so much Vicky!
