Hi crafty friends! Today I will demonstrate snow techniques … see the video tutorial on how to add snow on your projects. I created a really fun card using the “Merry Moose” die by Sizzix. You can see in this card that I have falling snow in the background, snow over my trees and snow banks to ground my moose.

The snow adds texture to the card and really looks soft and fluffy! The secret is to use Texture Paste ( SBC | SSS ). Out of all the pastes this does not get rock hard or shiny when it dries. It gives a soft finish, perfect for snow.
I used the Sizzix – Merry Moose ( SBC | SSS | AMZUS | CST ) die st. How adorable is this guy?! I paper pieces him using cardstock from the
Tim Holtz – 8 x 8 Kraft Stock ( SBC | SSS ). But you can also cut all the pieces from white cardstock and then color them with your markers.
You can recreate this card in so many different ways. Keeping the background the same with trees and snow all over you have the perfect place to add lots of elements, like my moose, a deer, Santa , Rudolf …. the sky is the limit!
Here is a close-up look on the snow that fell on my trees…. so much texture in this card!
