snowflake card

For this card I worked on white watercolor paper and applied two colors from the set. I went with the cool tones of green (jade and prasiolite) in an ombre effect. Super easy to make with no crazy techniques and it created a lovely base for my focal point. The snowflake is from the Layered Snowflakes Die Set( ALTN | SBC ) set and the sentiment is from the Hello Winter Die Set( ALTN | SBC | SSS )

flower card

For this card I used the Rose Bouquet Stencil( ALTN | SBC | SSS ) stencil over black cardstock. This is not watercolor paper but if you don’t use too much water you are good to go. Another advantage of using less water in this card was that I could control the paint better so it didn’t go under the stencil as I was applying it. Even if it did in some areas it really added to the whole look which is a loose flower watercolor painting.
