  1. First, please do not make the videos shorter! I appreciate every detail you share and find it all invaluable. (If anything I would vote for longer videos!!!) This is one of my absolute favorite art journal pages that you have done. So bright and colorful and I love those squirrels as well as the sentiments. And the techniques you share with the grass and the sky … I can’t wait to give it a try. I remember a while back you did an art journal page where you used bits of paper to make a tile like background. I tried that technique and liked it and then forgot about it! Time to bring it back. Great way to use up pattern paper. Thank you so much, Vicky, for a fun-filled and inspiring video! I think I’m going to use that type of background for an art journal page about the beach/sea!

  2. Please keep your art journal pages coming! They are so much fun to watch. Don’t change a thing – they are perfect as is. Thank you for always inspiring the rest of us.

  3. Love this page, I love that you do a lot of different techniques and explain them so well. Don’t change a thing about your videos, I love seeing the whole process. I also love that you always put some kind of encouraging and/or uplifting quote. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

  4. Hi Vicky – I just love your videos and hope you do not shorten them. I really enjoy seeing what you are creating and how you create each space on your journal page. I am going to be doing a journal of a 10 day bus trip my husband and I took to the Netherlands last year. We live in Canada so it was truly a trip of a lifetime. I have been watching your videos and getting some great ideas and techniques. You also make things so interesting. Than k you so much.

  5. I love everything you make! Especially art journal pages. My absolute favorite are the flowers. I also enjoy your voice, ( is that weird)? Your accent is wonderful and I just love listening to you! Please keep up the posts, they always make my day??‍?

  6. Love your art journal videos (and all the tips and techniques you share). I watch them on my treadmill (25 min program), so longer is even better ?. I often watch your 10 cards videos (even older ones) to pass the time—it’s my reward for daily exercise. I started using Nuvo deluxe adhesive after you recom it 2 or 3 yrs ago. It is the BEST. Thanks for the suggestion.

  7. Please don’t make your videos shorter. You pages are fantastic. I learn so much from your videos. Love them all.

  8. Hi Vicky

I couldn’t help but smile and laugh when you said your squirrels are going to be living in your art journal. When you were doing the paper taring I wasn’t sure if I was going to like that technique. But after you had finished the coloring and layering. I was surprised that you couldn’t even tell it was torn paper. A lot of your backgrounds are pieces of art all on their own.
Your videos when it comes to art journaling especially, is the only one I watch. For reasons others seem to be blabbering on about whatever. They take to long to start.
I like watching all your videos no matter how lengthy. I always have my coffee. You always show and explain everything you’re doing while you’re doing it.
When I’m in my art room I find a video of yours and off we go. We may not be physically making art together. But you are there in the background.
And I find your voice soothing. Because of that it has helped me on some of my down days.

  9. Please NOOOOOOO! Don’t make the videos shorter. I love watching everything you do and knowing the why behind it. I’ve learned so much from you ?
I do have one complaint though. When you were making the rays you said you choose freehand because ” you don’t need everything”. YES I DO!!!??
    Thanks for all you do

  10. This is adorable. I feel bad that I only see your work when I log onto Facebook, which is rare. You certainly still have the magic touch.

  11. I love this adorable page Vicky, great to see how you made this.
For me the step by step videos are not to long, I love them and the way you explain everything, please let them stay the same.
Thank you so much for showing your awesome work and have a great week.

Question: I this Arteza paper realy white?

  12. Hello Niki here ??
Really love all your videos. I’ve watched other art journal videos but had to stop shortly in to the video, as I’ve found them boring and long winded.
Yours I might add are perfect! Please don’t change a thing!
From the moment you start with your ‘Vicky here ‘, I’m glued until the end.
Thank you for sharing your ideas and inspiration.
    Nikki

  13. Love, love, love your art journal pages and process. Pls keep them as is with all the detail. So inspiring!

  14. I agree with all of the others! Please keep your videos as long or even longer. You are so creative with all of these different techniques and showing just some text with photos will never cut it. I am continually amazed by your creativity. When I began watching this video, I had to do a double- and even a triple-take when I compared the way you started with the end result. Simply fascinating! I am working on a different page using hedgehogs and I was looking for some background ideas. When I came across this squirrel page, I thought it would be perfect! I am still stunned that it all started with some torn paper! You are truly amazing. Thank you for sharing your ideas and advice with all of us. You are truly a blessing from heaven!
