  1. I love this video. I’m just learning to watercolor and not an artist but you do such a great job showing us how. Thank you.

  2. Wow! Beautiful! I love the textured background and all the gorgeous colors! Thank you for the watercoloring tips!

  3. Just watching you paint is a mini-watercolor class! This Iris set is gorgeous and your journal page is so beautiful. You were the one who inspired me to order the disc punch for creating the disc bound journals and I love it. I have the 36 pan watercolor set from Altenew and it’s a favorite go-to for creating watercolor cards. I love the texture on this page and I was curious how it would hold up with watercolor. Obviously it’s fine. 🙂 Thanks so much for the inspiration!

  4. What a beautiful background! The pastel colors with the texture paste give such a soft spring time effect. And that Iris!!!! Beautiful color! I have an iris stamp that I’ve worked with using pencils and it is SO challenging to color. As I was watching you paint, I realized it might be easier to emboss and paint it. Will have to give it a try. Thank you so much for the video. Crafting is helping to save my sanity during these challenging times. May you stay healthy and safe. P.S. Thank you for leaving in all the painting. Watching you paint was relaxing to me!!! Thanks for helping to lower the anxiety I’m experiencing!!!!!! Better than medication!!!!!!!

  26. I loved watching your video. So many fun elements, from the partial stenciling, the stamping with ink and clear embossing powder, to the beautiful watercoloring. And the sentiments were so varied and fun!

  27. I love how this turned out. The mixed media elements really help give it dimension. What a great inspiration!!

  28. Following my “wow” reaction to your post and video I had to buy that stamp when you originally posted this. I’ve used it so much, it is fun to just color the images. Your project inspired me to do my own take on it. It’s only paper and coloring materials, I needed to just do it. I’m so glad I did. I loved how it turned out and others were also very impressed. I have to thank you for your wonderful inspiration and instructions. Your video to see how you did this, along with fantastic instructions made it easy for me, a beginner, to create something I’m quite proud of. I recently made several cards (one for a 100th birthday) using this same inspiration and the recipients were also delighted with the images. I know I’ll continue to turn to this as a favorite stamp and techniques. THANK YOU for inspiring and encouraging so many of us.
