Hi! Today I am back with my latest art journal page where you can see the new Speckled Egg ( SBC | SSS | JGG ) color in action! Check out what a great color combo it does with Vintage Photo and how well it works for your vintage projects.

The cats as well as the phrases are from the Snarky Cat ( SBC | SSS | JGG ) stamp set. Look at this face!!! Makes me laugh everytime!
For this guy I just had to rip off the paper… he is a naughty cat as you can see….
For the background I combined Speckled Egg and Vintage photo and they are a perfect match!
For texture I used embossing paste and the Bricked stencil by Tim Holtz… so the background looks like an old wall with frames on top.

The frames are made using the Sizzix Decor Frames( SBC | SSS ).

Such a clever Art Journal page Vicky! I love the cat with the claw marks and the snarky sentiments! But I really love how you used the speckled egg new color — and I learned about using the two sprays together and subduing the vintage photo and then “erasing” the stamping with the distress oxide, those two tips were really helpful! TFS!!

I just love this page! Such a treat to have one of your videos to lift my spirits, which were low today. I loved how the brick and oxide ink looked like an old plaster walls and the cats were so lively and mischievous, just like real ones.thank you!

This is definitely one of my new favorite journal pages by you, but the truth is it doesn’t matter what I think. What really matters is: what does Ginger think of it?!!!!!! SO much fun. Like others have said, it brought a smile to my face today and Ginger’s appearance made me laugh out loud! Thank you both for that. Love the background and the detail of the scratch marks. I’m in the process of roughly planning out a new mixed media project which I hope will include some red brick (using a stencil) so seeing how you did your’s was helpful and timely. The Speckled Egg products I ordered should be arriving on Saturday. With the slower than usual mail and all you got your’s before I got mine!!! So happy to see you using it before I break into what arrives here. I already have a bunch of projects lined up to make. Thanks for sharing your wonderful, fun and funny project and for all the tips. So happy to hear things are easing up in Greece!! Here in Arizona we’re still having a difficult time. Although businesses are opening up again, I have decided to stay in lock down for at least a while longer.
I bought this stamp set quite a while ago – and now I have a wonderful idea – thanks to you!! I think this is my favorite (I always say that until the next one you do), but really, it is just wonderful. I love cats and have a kitty that looks a lot like Ginger.
