Hi! Today I am back with an art journal layout in a vintage look and feel. I have been wanting to use The Professor as my focal point for a few months now, so here we go!

I’m always in awe of your journal pages, and this one is wonderful. Your coloring is amazing.
Another beautiful journal page with an awesome video! Love the Professor’s glasses.
I love your art Vicky! That speckled egg color is so cool!

I never heard the noise in the background— your voice overs are always great. The neighbor kids next door are so annoying—horrible shrieking and fighting in their pool that we can hear w/ our doors and windows closed and the a/c on. I’ll trade you neighbors ?
Speckled egg is such a great color. I didn’t plan to order, but I’ve seen you use it on several projects and want to order an oxide pad in that color. Maybe it’s just me, but I haven’t seen any posts/projects using the Distress glazes that are effective.
I didn’t hear your neighbors at all either. And yup. I did something similar the first time I used the glaze!!!! It’s hard for me to get used to it being transparent and not like an embossing powder — but it is like an embossing powder!! I like your fix better than the one I did!!!!! GREAT page. I just love the background and how you added Fired Brick. It really does make the gears look a bit rusted! Thanks so much for sharing an art journal page. I’m in a bit of a creative dry period and watching others create can sometimes bring my creative mo-jo back!! Although I do have quite a few Christmas cards made to donate to a card drive. I think this year will be more important than ever to donate cards to send to nursing homes.
This is so cool! I love how you combine old stash with the new stuff. I have those gears and haven’t used them in ages so thanks for the inspiration.
This is wonderful! I have the stamp of this fellow and I now have an idea on how to use it. I love his glasses!
Stunning page Vicky, I love the stamp set end the colours you used.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful weekend.
I’ve been watching you for some time now. I love your style!
