Check the video above for a step by step tutorial on how I made this project.

The project today is 6×6 and I plan to frame it on a shadow box. You can always punch holes and add it in a disc bound journal.

I used the retro typewriter die that I had for a few months now waiting to be used.

Since I love the traditional Christmas color combo I went with a festive red typewritter. Isn’t it cute?!

I used dies that I had in my stash from last year, to create a couple of clusters with holly berries and mistletoes. Love how festive they instantly make a page look.

For the page in the typewritter you can use a piece from a book, type something on your printer, write down your thoughts or go my way… a messy approach combining stamps and stickers.

  3. WHAT?!!! No white splashes?!!!! Is that really you, Vicky???!!!!!!! What a great idea for a journal page. I absolutely love the background and how dreamy looking Shabby Shutters looks with Vintage Photo! As a former secretary, the die reminds me of high school days when I learned to type (I’m dating myself!). I wish typewriters had looked like that back then!! What a great way to end the year and dream of better days in 2021. Thank you so very much for this series of videos. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each and every one.
