Hi! Today I have many snowflake cards for you! These are so much fun to make and they are perfect for the winter season, since snowflakes work with any sentiment and they are great for masculine and feminin cards. For all my cards today I used products from the January 2021 card kit by SimonSaysStamp. You will find the link below to the kit as well as to the products included individually if you just want to grab a few.

Here are some close-up photos on the 4 cards that I made
snowflake card 1
Using the embossing forder for the background and the snowflake as a focal point. A lovely elegant card in white and silver.
snowflake card 2
An embossed snowflake border on patterned paper. Easy to mass produce on patterned papers or colored cardstock.
snowflake card 3
A snowflake shaker card, use the negative as a window and on top of the patterned papers. You can even have the sentiment at the center of the snowflake.

In a landscape orientation, a super simple card taking advantage of those gorgeous patterned papers. Just add a snowflake and a sentiment and you are ready to go, does not get any easier. But still looks awesome right?!

Since I saw this kit at Simon says stamp I was already waiting for you to make something with it. These papers are so beautiful I would be so scared to mess them up. So I was really wondering how you would use them and as always, the results are beautiful! I really love the idea to use the negative of the die to make a shaker card. I always like shaker cards and this way you still see a lot of the beautiful paper from the kit!

The embossed snowflake border over the Bokeh-style blue paper is gorgeous! Now I wish I had made those for Christmas. I really like the idea of just using part of a stamp or die cut of the edge of the card. Thank you for all the great YouTubes, I’ve learned a lot.

Card #3 is my favorite. Lots of good ideas—I have an older bokeh pad that I need to quit hoarding and this design is perfect. Dec/Jan is when I make next year’s Christmas and winter cards, so I’m in full production mode during the Christmas season, w/ holiday music playing.
I couldn’t wait to see what you did with this kit – always so inspirational and classy. Of course, this kit was just too beautiful to be wrong no matter what you did. My favorite, the white one looking so much like snow, no, maybe the blue one as it is chilly and so pretty, or the shaker that my grand kids will love, even the last simple one with the sentiment that we all share this year. Oh heck, they are all great!

My favorite? It’s a tie between cards 1, 2, 3 and 4!!!! If I were forced to choose, maybe Card #1 would be slightly ahead!!! They’re all beautiful for different reasons — #1 is SO elegant. I make a bunch of holiday cards each year that I donate and I include some cards that are non-Christmas for those who don’t celebrate that holiday.
