Hi! Today I am going to show you how you can make the most of your dies. Just one die can be used in so many different ways and I have some examples for you today. To showcase my techniques I will be playing with the Hexagon Pops Die-namics ( MFT | SSS ) and the We Beelong ( MFT | SSS ) for all my cards.

  • Use the die cut negative to create a cover panel or a shaker window

  • Use the negative as a stencil… once you have your stencil the sky is the limit! You can do inking, spraying, doodling, modelling paste, embossing…. I went with glitter paste.

  • Use the actual die cuts to add texture on your backgrouns. Here is a white on white variation of this technique but there is another one in the video if you check it out.

  1. As ways, so cute and creative. The bees are adorable! The bear stamps are too. Thank you for giving us some ideas how to use the honeycomb die. It’s a lot more useful that I would have thought.

  2. A-dorable! Thanks for the reminder to use dies as a stencil! I haven’t done that in a while. My favorite of the 3 is the square card with the bees. So cute. And, yes, the white hexagons show up nicely on the white background adding texture, but not taking away from the rest of the design. Thank you, Vicky!
