Hi! It’s mixed media Tuesday and today I am back with a vintage art journal project. I created a mini art journal and I am sharing a flip-through of the 5 pages along with a tutorial on how I made the backgrounds, the focal points and how I put everything together!

I love all the background spray color combinations! So quick and easy….if you let them dry! 🙂 The layers of details are so much fun, but do not distract. “Meant to behave” is my favorite– his expression is hilarious!
Your compositions are so stunning – I wish I had your eye for it. But I aspire to keep learning. This journal is outstanding.
Just love this mini art journal.
I never give my “people “ wings or hats but this is too cute and absolutely love it
The stencil is something I will have to get!
Great tutorial ❤️
Salvage Patina and Shabby Shutters look really pretty together! And I agree, the guy on page 2 cracks me up! You found the perfect quote for him and the look on his face!! The woman with the flower for a hat is one of my favorites as well … but then I really like the dog too! Thanks for going back to basics in this video. It always helps to remember the fundamentals. Lately I’ve been interested in creating some vintage style mixed media cards so these same principles apply. Thanks for sharing this fun project and for the introduction to some new (to me) products. I like to fussy cut too as I find it very relaxing. Thank you, thank you! I hope you are well, staying safe and that the vaccination process is moving along in Greece.
More magic from your fingers! I love these pages. More, please!!!!
Another one of your posts that brought me joy and a smile to my face. You always amaze me with your projects………..no matter what they are. I enjoyed the video and a peek into your creative mind. Thanks so much for the FUN!
Magnifiques pages douce soirée
