Welcome to a fun blog hop! The new Altenew collection is here and we are having a fun blog hop where you can see the products in action, get inspired and win prizes!

For today’s cards I am focusing on the itty bitty flowers die set! Love how versatile they are and how easy it is to put them together. Follow the guide on the packaging or just be creative, they are really forgiving any way you combine them they will look great.

For my first card I went with yellows and I added interest to the background with a stencil and a cut out panel with lovely edges!

  • Altenew Illusion Hexagons Stencil for Paper Crafting( ALTN )
  • Simple Greetings Die Set( ALTN | SBC | SSS )

For my second card I went with blue shades for the flowers and silver glitter cardstock. This time instead of using the branch from the same die set as the flowers I switched to those big leaves. They really make a statement on a card!

  1. Wow! I love that this can also be used on slimline cards as well! The blue I think is my favorite! Stunning color combination!! Hugs!

  2. Your pink and mustard hello card is very nice. The die itself is a winner and I love the weathered edge.

  3. My new love is background stencils. They add so much to my cards. Love these new ones. Your cards are stunning, as usual!

  4. The Hello card is my favorite but both are beautiful and it’s always a treat to see your creations. I find lots of inspiration with your ideas!

  5. Gorgeous cards Vicky. I especially love the blue flowers today. Another brilliant release. Off to watch your video now.

  6. Simply lovely cards! I really like the new Altenew dies, especially that frame set! Altenew has everything now! Stencils, cardstock, stamps and dies, and that’s not all! It’s always fun to see what you will make and learn about the new things available!

  7. Great cards. The video shows how versatile the Itty Bitty Flowers set is. Can’t decide which one I like the best.

  8. I love the dainty look of these flowers and the endless choices of color combinations. The glittery leaves are so much fun.

  9. HI, Vicky – I’ll be checking out these items from Altenew. I love these Itty Bitty flowers. I like both cards very much and would be stymied to have to decide which I liked more. Thanks so much for sharing and for helping others through your talent.

  10. Very pretty. I love the use of the background to frame the flowers. The different textures used are great, from the base card texture to the cut edge of the white background and then the stamped background. Thanks for sharing

  11. One could make a beautiful gift set using just these dies and different colors. Thanks for the inspiration!

  12. Both are so beautiful but there is something so special about the blue one, maybe because the color scheme is more unusual for flowers. I love it!

  13. Beautiful cards and products. I love the blue card as the flowers almost look like flax flowers, which is a favorite plant.

  14. Beautiful cards as always. Love the itty bitty flowers but would not have thought to use them other than with the branch that comes with them. Thanks for showing how great they look with the glittery in line leaves. Thanks, too, for the helpful video.

  15. Hi Vicky
Love your cards as always..I’d love one of those little machines you used..much simpler instead of using large one…love tbe silver one
    Kind regards & stay safe
