I have a really beautiful project for today using a door as my focal point from the Magnolia Hues collection, by Dress My Craft. 1. What a a beautiful page! Love the colors, the quote and the font of the die cut letters. That font goes so well on this page. Like you, I have a fascination with doors. Along the way I’ve tried your idea of cutting notches and curling the edges back and I really like the look. Thanks for that idea and for reminding me about it today. I haven’t done it in a while. Any chance that in the future you’ll be doing more videos that include work with resin and/or clay + molds? Just wondering. Thanks for the video, Vicky. Love these art journal videos and what I learn from you. Enjoy the week.

  2. Beautiful page. Like you, I occasionally use my label maker for quotes; however, sometimes I find they peel off easily or separate from the white backing. Have you found this to be a problem?

  3. Forgot to mention that I saw beautiful photos of the recent snowstorm (thundersnow) in Greece. The photos from Athens and Santorini were gorgeous. Did you have snow at your place?

  4. Thank you for this tutorial, Vicky. I love this page. It really embodies “a picture is worth a 1000 words”….so inspiring.

  5. Love your journal page. You always amaze me that you can gather up pieces of paper and make such a beautiful page. The colors you use are always so pretty! I love mixed media Tuesday. Thank you for the video Vicky.
