Welcome to a mini collage art journal flip through! This was a project I did while on Christmas holidays. The idea was to create something quick in just a few minutes without stamping or using coloring mediums. Just collage. It is a great art excercise on composition, color and texture/pattern combinations. With only a few elements and in just a few minutes you have to create something pleasing to the eye. I started by challenging myself to do one page a day for 30 days, but it was so addictive I just kept on going until the book was over.

41 pages in total!

I filmed the process of all the pages and posted them on my Instagram since it’s a social media platform perfect for short lenght videos. But after popular demand I did post many of them on my YouTube channel too. Today I am back with a flip through on all the pages that you can enjoy in the video below.

If you want to see individual videos on each page scroll down below the video. You will also find there a list of shops where I get this kind of supplies as well as coupon codes! Enjoy

supplies & coupon codes

The idea was to use supplies from my stash… but you know how things goes with us crafters. Creating is one hobby while collecting craft supplies is another. So I found super cute mini elements that work great for this type of collages, such as stickers, washi tapes, photo booklets and so much more. Here are my most favorite shops.

In the videos I use a couple of pocket printers. You can definetly use your desktop printer for that, I just love little gadgets. However, since I get a lot of questions on them here is what I like to use:

  • For printing colorful  2×3 sticker photos: HP Sprocket (sorry I don’t have a coupon for this one)
  • For printing black & white images thermal printer: Poooli (coupon code: VICKYP15 for 15% OFF)
