Hi! It’s mixed media Tuesday and today I have a double page art journal, using the Sir Vagabond Aviator collection by Stamperia. It’s designed by Antonis Tzanidakis and if you want to see a close-up on the whole collection you can check the unboxing I did last week here.

I had so much fun creating this page as I played with acrylics, stencils, pastes, markers and so much more! You can enjoy the video below or at my YouTube channel

Love, love this project! It came across to me how much fun you were having creating this page!! The patina paints are quite interesting and I think they would last longer than the waxes I have (which dry up here in Arizona quite quickly — as does everything else … including my skin!!!). As usual, I really like the background and all the layers you added. So much interest; so many layers and yet they don’t compete or take away from other layers. And the collage elements behind the girl … great! Love the idea of using the map. The Pitt pens really add a lot to the page and make the girl pop and stand out from all there is in the background. It’s like magic to watch how that happens! I’m not into the aviation part of this collection (although I adore the girl), but I’m tempted to get a few of the products just because of their unique references to the parts of NY that mean so much to me and connect to family history. Stamperia does such a great job of breaking down their collections so that one can shop for bits and pieces. Vicky, thank you so very much for this video. It was so much fun to watch you have so much fun!!! Thank you, thank you.
I love how you created the whole page. It really did make a difference by adding the color on the balloon, definitely made it pop. I always love your process on how you design your journal page. Thank you Vicky for the video.
Stunning pages Vicky, I can watch hours and hours how you create layer after layer. Stamperia makes fabulous collection, totally love them.
Thank you so much for sharing this great double page art journal tutorial, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
