It’s time for another art journal layout and today I am playing again in my stone paper A5 journal. I am sharing a fun antiquing technique today using the vintage antiquing paste while playing with products from my collection.
My collection is hitting the shops this week. Shops from all over the world will have the products in stock including not only many european countries where I am located but also shops in Canada, USA, South America, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand … just google “create happiness stamperia” and shops near you will pop up.

Here is a look on today’s double page project with a vintage vibe to it.
I used acrylics, stencils, stamping and the amazing antiquing paste to create the background.
The boots are from my ephemera pack white the flowers are cut outs from The Graden of Promises paper pad.

Hallo,
What did you put with the antique past?
Thank you
The most basic way to thin oil paint is by using a solvent such as mineral spirits or turpentine. I used an odorless mineral spirit I had for ages,
That stone paper is AMAZING! I am now one step closer to creating my own art journal. Your backgrounds are always a surprise– I thought you had totally covered up that beautiful pink and tan with the antiquing paste, but then you used the baby wipe and WOW! I love that vintage look!
GREAT page! And I just LOVE the background. The antique look would go great with the book (in my mind). The clock adds a really pretty touch and goes so perfectly with your quote. (I have a thing for old clocks and the one you used is very pretty!) Looking forward to placing an order for some of your products and to playing with them. Today was a long and difficult day so to have your video to look forward to at the end of it all was a gift. An extra special thank you for the video today! Hugs!
Thank you Debbie!
I can’t wait to receive your products I ordered! What are the containers you use for the ephemera? Storing emphemera is a challenge for me..
Thank you,
Martha
just a plastic box I got from amazon
Super awesome page Vicky!
Totally impressed by the background, that was a double wow especially when you covered it all over with the antique paste and wiped most of it off with a baby wipe.
I’m so glad I found your collection in The Netherlands unfortunately does the webshop in your mailing haven’t received all the products yet but I found two others that have it all:
https://www.scraphut.nl/ and https://craftelier.com/nl-nl/
The Craftelier has shops all over Europe.
With both of the sites I searched for Stamperia Create Happiness.
This week I will certainly buy some things of your stunning collection.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
Thanks for the inspiration and fabulous products! I preordered mine from Craftstash where they were a bit pricey, but at least they had all the items still available at that time. I was too impatient to wait for local retailers to get them. I received my order last week and created an autumn themed layout straightaway.
