Let’s bring Mixed Media Tuesdays back!!! After a much needed break today I am back with a double page art journal featuring products from my new Stamperia collection “Welcome Home”.

The background was created by blending dye inks, stamping, brayering and stencil. Lots of fun techniques in one!

For my focal points I used cut outs from the ephemera packs of the “welcome home” collection and also cut out some imaetgs from the Collectables pad.

The page today smells like spring and I just love the color combination and all the wild flowers!

  1. How exciting that mixed media Tuesdays are back and I’ve been excitedly waiting to see you begin to create with your new collection! This is a gorgeous page! I love the colors you chose and the soft look. The way you added 1/2 of the label really adds so much to the overall look of the page. I really like that idea. I’ve ordered (to start) the collectibles and 2 of the moulds. My intention is to create my first explosion box for a friend’s birthday. She loves to garden; we love to have tea together; and she loves to read. The plan is to use elements from your collection to stack 3 boxes in 1 each with a theme of something she loves. The inspiration came from seeing you introduce your collection — which has elements that will be perfect for the project. The hard part is waiting for the items to arrive!!!! BTW, I just love your edge stencils and have used them on cards as well as art journal pages!! I can’t wait to see you use the moulds!! And I can’t wait to get them and put them to use!!! (I have some questions about the moulds — like the differences between using cream paste (which I’ve never tried before) and clay and resin, but will wait as patiently as I can for you to create with them!!) I’m very much looking forward to seeing all your different creations with the collection and am keeping an eye out at my local craft store for when they get the collection in the store. Thank you so very much for the video and I just love your new — and full — collection! I feel very excited and happy for you and sincerely hope that it is a great success for you! Thank you and congratulations!!!!
