What a fun page! I just love the colors you used. The trail on the butterflies really made a big difference and I could actually see as you were creating how that detail really brought the pages together! So amazing to watch. Great questions (thank you to those who asked) and I appreciate you taking the time to answer them. Really helpful as I’ve been confused about the differences between the elements packages. Thank you for helping me understand. I am confused about the primer. Is that the same as gesso? Could one use gesso instead of primer and get the same affect you achieved on your pages? What’s the difference between gesso and the primer? I’m slowly getting into Stamperia products and there are so many … some of which seem the same. So much to learn … and that makes me happy!!! I think I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again: your stencils are awesome!! Thank you so much, Vicky! Counting down the days (literally!) until the collection begins to ship in the U.S.!
Yes gesso and primer are the same for this use and generally for applying them on paper … the Stamperia brand has two for other uses… so the primer is better (grabs more) on slick surfaces like if you want to apply it on glass or metal for example. But this is for other type of art… for paper they work the same.
