Hi! Today I am sharing a mixed media project in a frame using moulds and other fun techniques!
You can enjoy the video below or at my YouTube channel
The background was created by using my old time favorite paper tiles technique. Sprays, inks and stenciling complete the background that give all that texture and interest while keeping it sabtle at the same time.
Decorative chips. paper flowers and die cut leaves came together to create the dimensional composition.
In the video I explain the various mixed media techniques that I used to get that look including dry brushing and waxing!.
Added bonus of using the clock decorative chips? I have a quote on my project “time for happiness”
Below you can find a list of all the products used today. Links to multiple online shops are available, just click the logo below each item. Affiliate links used where possible at no extra cost to you.
Fabulous – and NOT TOO LONG!! Love your work.
I’ve run out of different words to use to say how beautiful your projects are and fear I sound like a broken record!! Really beautiful! I really really like what you’ve done — the colors and techniques and the quote for a craft room … fabulous! So many techniques in this video. Thank you for taking the time to explain them all as well as the nuances of the different products you used. I love how your balloon turned out and am looking forward to trying your technique. I really like working with moulds and am relatively new to them so thank you for taking so much time to show how you work with them. Thank you, Vicky!!!
Beautiful project. By the way…I prefer the longer videos. I like to time them to my treadmill routine, so 25-30 min. is perfect.
The video was definitely NOT too long…….it was amazing. I love the way your project turned out. The colors are perfect and would look very nice in MY craft room. Thank you, once again for the video and for all the techniques and information that you shared. Your artistic abilities are amazing!
