A Very Special Mother’s Day Card

Hi! I have a really special card to share today. It’s a stunning card that I made for my mom for mother’s day but it can be used for any occassion by changing the sentiment. If you love die cutting you will have lots of fun making this card and you can see how easy it is to put together in the step by step video below. I used one of the sets from Bibi Cameron new collection with Spellbinders, which is just stunning and so unique.

it is basically mainly die cutting but I did a bit of inking on the cut out pieces just to help them pop a little bit and to add that extra touch

I love how striking the color combination of the hummingbirds is against teh dark background. Keep in mind that you can use your favorite colors for the birds, it’s your card and you don’t have to go realistic if you don’t want to!
