Remember not to look for perfection in art journaling, just have fun with the mediums… can you see that mine isn’t perfect either?! The success is in the layers, the time we spend with our paints and the joy the finished project gives us!

I appreciate how you explain things so well as that helps me to understand how better to use the products I have as well as how to mix and match products. You’re such a great teacher! I have 2 Pitt pens and I love to use them for shading, but they are expensive. I have been wondering what else — that’s transparent — I might use to bring out the colors in an image.
