Hi! today I am back with a shadow box, a very easy project that required minimum supplies but has a great impact! It is a project I shared on the SimonSaysStamp blog as a guest last week but I am sharing it here today in case you missed it there.

Use many layers of foam tape or scrap pieces of cardboard to add dimention on your composition

By using ephemera from one collection it makes your job super easy. You know that everything matches and you can put together similar boxes per collection in no time.

I kept this shadow box very easy so everyone can do it! No mixed media techniques at all, just putting together layers of ephemera can create such a lovely outcome!

Instead of using the ephemeras which are made out of cardstock you can go with the chipboads pieces, these are going to give you an even sturdier result with even more dimention as they are thicker. Or you can mix and match!

I am super happy with my shadow box and it decorates my craft room, celebrating yet another one of my releases with Stamperia!

  1. What a beautiful project to greet you as you go into your craft room! I have it in mind that the next project I would like to try is a shadow box using your collections so your video is very timely! I really like the idea of using cardboard instead of foam tape and have been saving cardboard boxes to use as you have here. Your project takes me back to my time strolling on the Champs Elysees — I loved that avenue!! It would be a sweet reminder to make a box with that sign. Thank you so much for the video, Vicky!

  2. A really great project and an excellent decoration for your craft room. With all that you have done for your craft room, it would be nice if you would make a video for us of the room! That would definitely be exciting and inspiring. Thank you for today’s video.

  3. Very pretty. Such a nice addition to your craft room. I too agree it would be nice to see a video with all the great items you have created for your craft room.
