Welcome to my new video series! From now until Christmas, I will be posting a Christmas project every Friday. It can be a card, a tag, a mixed media project… whatever inspires me that week. Make sure to follow along for lots of inspiration. I am starting today with a card and I am playing with products from my new “Christmas Plus” collection so you can see them in action.

Here are some close-up photos on today’s card where you can see the details and dimension better.

Using the cut outs from the ephemera packs (tickets, frame) makes it easy to create a composition and you can always add decorative chips to make it look fuller.

The contouring liner is the perfect finishing touch, and I hope you can see in these photos to real effect of the iridescent one that I used here.

  1. I LOVE the soft colors you chose!
I think that iridescent contour liner is going to be my winter card making essential– PERFECT for shimmery snow 🙂

  2. What a very pretty card! I just love the colors! This year I’m planning on donating holiday cards to hospitalized children and am looking to make cards that are holiday neutral and not too cheery (for those who are terminally ill). A card like this would be perfect! I had passed on the Winter Valley collection, but now that I’ve seen how you used it, I’m going to have to reconsider!! A question on the contour pen you used: is it clear with sort of glitter in it? Congratulations on your latest collection! I’m so thrilled for you!!! Looking forward to your new series!

  3. Welcome back!! I missed you but so glad you had a great relaxing break. Love love love this collection. You are a master at clusters – so pretty!!
