The effect of the embossing powder on the leaves is just stunning and it really adds that extra touch to the card

I also love the embossed background, those stipes are so elegant, they add interest without making the design look busy

  1. Elegant and beautiful and classic! I so appreciate you talking about using the same backgrounds and techniques and changing up the focal point. What a simple way to approach card making and I’d like to give it a try. I get stuck thinking I have to come up with a different background idea for each card and it really slows me down and can be frustrating. Plus it’s a great way to, as you said, create a cohesive set to give as a gift. Love the adding of “snow” with embossing powder!! Thank you so much the video, Vicky!

  2. I have to admit that, at first,I thought this card was plain and simple, however when I read what you said about the powder on the flower I had to take a longer look! I am amazed at what a difference just embossing stripes can make! I can’t wait until I can afford a machine! A lovely card! Thank you for sharing!

  3. Vicky, you never cease to inspire me with your beautiful creativity. I again loved the effect of the Sparkling Snow embossing powder. Thank you for all the crafting tips you share.
