Welcome to another Mixed Media Tuesday and as promiced every other Tuesday I am back with a new mixed media project. Today I am sharing a mixed media album cover.

close-up photos

I worked on my A6 journal organisers are my base but the same project could be a canvas or a scrapbook album cover.

Lots of mediums where used for the background including rice papers, stencil and pastes, stamping, dye inks and acrylics

for my cluster I used die cuts and I am so happy with how the final composition looks including the net and the string for extra texture!

  1. What a beautiful album cover and so you! Another great quote chip! The string and netting really add a lot. I’m getting ready to do an album (starting with the cover) — a new kind of project for me — so your video is timely and gave me some ideas and a starting point. Thank you! Waiting (somewhat impatiently!) to see your new collection!!!! I love your essentials stamps and use them often — as well as your stencils that have design edges on them.
