Hi! Time for a Festive Fridays video and today I am sharing an album cover. I used my A6 journal organizer as my base, so the size is also perfect to repeat the same idea on a card if you like.

Here is a close up look on the album where you can see the dimension on the cover by using all the die cuts.
Adding little details with the contour liners really makes a difference and you can see here better how I used them to add snow and golden details on the flowers.
Also check out the rub-ons that although are flat they do add that extra something on the background

What a fun project!
I just had an idea to use this with the A6 Art Journals to organize my card design ideas.
One will be for Christmas, one for birthdays, and others for “hello”, “get well”, “just a note”, etc.

Oh, that’s so beautiful! I love the look of the spine and rest of the album — and the front would make a fun card for sure! I’ve been trying the technique of sponging on paint and the first time I saw what I did my eyes popped!!!! It really does give such a different look — one that I absolutely love! Great texture!! The way you added the white and gold really adds something special to the project! The background paper you used is so pretty. When the collection came out, I was looking for either single 12×12 sheets of it or as rice paper as it’s so incredibly versatile. Thank you so much, Vicky, for sharing your project and for demonstrating so many techniques!
